Pro-Humanity vs. War

THE "RED, WHITE & BLUE PAPERS", Scott Keller in a Series, on the Issues

This paper discusses how Scott Keller is Pro-Humanity vs. War

It's time we start asking new questions and get to the roots of our problems rather than escalating them or trying to put bandaids on the chronic symptoms of systemic failure.  For too long, We the People have been driven headlong toward the ever-expanding problem of "Government Gone Wild".

Money has been a huge influence in conflicts around the world, along with clever manipulation by those who control this money.  Human civilizations around the globe have far more similarities than differences and the differences are generally just languages and belief systems.  Languages can be translated and learned.  Belief systems just need to be understood, as well as understanding what belief systems actually are - filters on reality that have built up over a lifetime of experiences and interpretations of those experiences, along with influences from other people in the life of the belief holder.  Beliefs are not reality but rather a person's map of reality.

For too long Wars and Policing Actions have been led by Politicians and Bureaucrats in efforts to "Make the World Safe for Democracy".  What have been the results for America?  Dictators and Tyrants have been empowered by covert action and operations.  Many countries, rightfully so, fear and loathe what has happened to their countries over the years under the guise of America "helping them".  Are we safer as a people?  Have we experienced serious repercussions for the things that have been done in the name of America?  Are we experiencing a highpoint in our society with these efforts?

If the answers to these question are "No", then perhaps it is time that we truly identify the problems and then find good solutions.  Too often, we have had to use the military to correct the problems created by entangling alliances.  After all, both Saddam Hussein and Usama Bin Laden were once our allies when it served Covert and Overt Foreign Policy.

My stance on war and being pro-humanity:  bring all American military troops home immediately, leaving in place only those troops who are already stationed as part of a treaty that must be honored.  Take American money off of the war table, along with subsidizing the influence of arms dealers.  Of course, have monetary sovereigntry, but by bringing our American military money back to America, we can shift internal resources to education, science, healthy food, health care, internal American military security, etc, and away from the active war-machine American military.  Stop making people hate the United States of America, and we won't need to make war when we are attacked because we are hated.  Befriend Mexicans rather than demonize them.  There are a multitude of things we can do to solve the Mexican border issue without fences and excessive military presence.  Help Mexico to solve their own issues in their country, welcome them into this country, smooth the immigration process, help them learn English, and encourage people to learn Spanish.  Having a multi-lingual America isn't a bad thing, but it rather increases our collective intelligence.  Shift away from a "costly" social net - i.e. health care, food growth, etc. - to one where it's handled locally and efficiently.  Encourage those who are coming into this country to help BUILD the country rather than take from it.  Integrate into it.  New immigrants can help grow food, build cities, teach in schools, help make America great again, by going back to encouraging our immigrants, not hating them.

Currently, we fight a lot of battles because of our perceived dependence on oil and because of the greed of those who own or want to own the oil wells.  We can easily stop our dependence on oil, using the monies saved by bringing home our troops, to switch to energy efficiency, clean power utilities that are already developed and just need to be "turned on".

Also, we need to do something about the education and training we give to people who enter the military or the police force such that they value life rather than wanting to take life.

A person's ability to live up to their potential depends largely upon their environment. When people are reduced to different levels of rent, one can't afford to act in altruistic ways, and they often don't have the time or energy to work on sustainable solutions for the problems of society. Quite frankly, we are living "paycheck to paycheck", for those who are lucky enough to hold a stable job in this toxic economy.  This is why we need to create an environment in which everyone has their basic needs and wants fulfilled, in which everyone has equal access to a relevant education, and in which people can work together and share information and resources, without having to fear an individual economic advantage when they do.

If we work to be our best, do our best, and rise to our fullest potential in all areas, then wars will eventually become obsolete, and humanity will prevail.

"MAKE IT CHANGE!"
