What Makes Scott Keller a Good Presidential Candidate?

What makes me a good candidate to be US President?

I believe that my primary qualifications are my ideas, my approach, my awareness and my belief in people and not my background. While I have no regrets about my background because it has brought me to my current mentality and paradigms, I can't brag about any major successes. In fact my background pretty clearly shows an aversion to the system as it currently exists. I have struggled financially all of my life, not because I was dumb or lazy or incapable of keeping track of money, but because everything seemed to run contrary to my belief system and few jobs could keep my attention away from my dreams and desires and passion for changing it all. Even pursuing the thing that I most wanted to do, give motivational speeches, ran against my consciousness because I could never convince myself that anyone should have to pay money to improve themselves. Time and effort, yes, but spend the family's money no.

Recently I figured out a way to give motivational speeches through a non-profit effort, but that lended itself to running for President for what microphone in the world gathers more attention than that of the President. With it I can encourage billions at the same time at no cost to the listeners.

Since at least 2001 (that's when it started becoming official) I have been working on ideas that could bring necessary services which would uplift humanity without big government programs or taxes. It started with an idea for a free university system supported by the efforts of students doing what they were studying to do. Then it expanded into an idea (Zettinnova) to both have the university system AND provide free retirement for seniors as early as age 55. That expanded into an idea (Citynet 3000) for a network of cities, both new futuristic cities and existing but transformed cities that would operate on a series of new and improved economic models.

More recently is when the idea for non-profit speaking came to mind as I realized that I didn't want to run all of these projects myself but rather that I just wanted to initiate them and guide them and let others bring their particular talents into them to make them successful. While my actual money-earning career was in IT as a Database administrator, my mind and goals have mainly revolved around finding a way to get these ideas off the ground.

Of course all of my adolescent and adult life I've watched and observed more and more that those who tried or pretended to lead this country seemed to waste wonderful opportunities to help others. These observations became even more poignant as I began in the 90's to study self-development, NLP, and such things (which also disturbed me in and of itself because of the prevalent obsession in that field with the pursuit of money rather than advancement) and I realized that combining a desire to uplift and encourage everyone with the White House microphone would work wonders in this country and around the world and I wondered with great frustration why none of the Presidents had done so. There were occasional speeches from various presidents which leaned that direction, but they were few and far in-between.

I then started becoming more aware, through my own research, observation, and thinking, of the inner workings of money, where it came from, what it meant, where it leads, and why I had a problem with it as it then existed and still exists.

The revelation about the power of questions and belief systems from studying with Tony Robbins and his seminars, live and by tape, brought a whole new world to my eyes that I had not been fully aware of before.

Of course having a family, and trying to raise young kids from the financial situation I was still in as always, made me start noticing things about how kids are treated, what's made available to them, and how everything good carried costs that anyone not so well off would not be able to afford. I started wondering about the education system and how poor kids were left out through no fault of their own and how tremendously detrimental that and other situations are towards the past, present, and future of our nation as well as other nations.

I started wondering why Democrats and Republicans (my family was staunch Republican for some reason they couldn't explain) were always fighting when they all basically wanted the same things.

I began asking the questions tangent to a central question - how can we bring about solutions that solve the roots of all problems (war, debt, poverty, retirement, housing, food, energy, etc.) while at the same time shrinking the government. And you know what? Solutions began coming to mind. Now it's hard to think about anything else but the seeking and sharing of solutions that everyone can be happy with to the point where I've come up with ways to completely eliminate income taxes while everyone benefits from the rich to the poor and people can stop struggling unnecessarily.

So, while I am quite certain there MUST be someone out there better suited than myself to be President of the US, I am equally certain that I am the best choice from amongst those currently running. I am the only current candidate who has the approach, the mentality, the belief system, and the determination and motivation which can appeal to all parties whether Republican, Democrat, Green, Libertarian, Reform, or others, as well as to most independents.

I understand the question people may ask about someone's background in a quest for picking a candidate, but I have a different perspective. A person's background may or may not be filled with material successes, but it will reveal something about a person's thought process and their heart. We don't necessarily need someone who has successes dealing in the current system since the current system is something that we want to change.

But material successes seem to be what many people have been conditioned to look for. We've had candidate after candidate elected who have had various pro-system successes in their lives, abiding by the rules the way the rules were written by the designers of the system but what has that accomplished? Our problems have continuously grown worse for the last 100 years or more.

Better would be someone who has consistently shown the will and courage to change the system in the people's favor and someone who has demonstrated the vision and innovative spirit the country needs to accomplish that change in a positive way and someone who understands that the people of the country need to be integrally involved if anything is to have positive and lasting results. That's where I come into the picture and have been very consistent with even though no spotlight has been on me.

I would appreciate your vote for President in November, 2012.  Make It Change!
