APPROACH

The "Red, White & Blue Papers" Scott Keller in a Series, on the Issues

This paper discusses the Approach of Scott Keller.

What makes me miles away different from all of the other candidates is not in the ideas, it's in the approach, the attitude, the beliefs, the vision, the outlook, and the ability to find ways to bridge gaps between people.  I approach everything differently, and each issue is treated essentially the same way.  We first need to know truthfully where we are, we also have to (at the same time) know where we want to be, and then we need to ask questions constantly until we find the solution and it's path that we were looking for to get to the solution.

Also, I approach things from a point of view that there's a solution out there for every issue that will make almost everyone happy on all sides of it.  I'm not against anyone, but rather for everyone, regardless of background or financial status.

I would approach the Presidency differently too.  I view the President as someone who shouldn't be a know-it-all, but someone who is humble, truthful, wise, and listens to the people.  Wisdom, I believe, rests in realizing that no one knows everything.  The solutions to the problems we face are not limited to the mind of one man or woman, but must involve everyone.  There are 300 million people in the United States of America and 7 billion people in the world, and I am quite certain there are many, many brilliant ideas amongst them that have not yet been revealed.

The Office of the Presidency is also in a wonderful position, different than any other in the nation, with the ability to encourage the people, to share solutions with the people, and to share the microphone with people who have more brilliant ideas than his/her own.

We should work to BE the change, to BE the best we can be, rather than trying to force our views on the world.  If we are our best, then people around the world will want to know what we know and have the same peace and joy that we have earned.

To know where we are truthfully, we need to be honest with ourselves.  We need to all understand the fundamentals of the issues as well if not better than those who are representing us. This includes the economy.  We need to have goals.  Why are we working 40-80 hours per week or more without knowing where we're going in such a hurry?  We need to be advancing as humanity, by feeding everyone, provide great health for everyone, educate everyone to their fullest potential, and much, much more.  This, I believe is what Americans truly want their country to be.

Also, because of my background in Neuro Linguistic Programming, I approach everything with a deep, strong belief in the inner greatness of people. All people. There is greatness inside of us(including you) that none of us can even fathom yet. Imagine what humanity is capable of. That's what we're trying to clear the way to achieving.

"MAKE IT CHANGE!"
